SELF-LEADERSHIP & LEADERSHIP

Led by Alberto Ribera – Associate Fellow, Kennedy School of Government (Harvard University) & Visiting Professor, IPE Business School

This module is designed to develop the essential leadership skills needed to effectively guide people at all levels of an organization. It begins with self-leadership — the foundation for inspiring others through one’s own example — and expands to the ability to influence and motivate team members strategically. Through case studies and proven tools, the course provides key levers to increase engagement, motivation, and a sense of belonging within the company. Best practices will be shared on how to support people in consistently bringing out their best, fostering an environment focused on achieving shared goals.

COMPLEX DECISION MAKING
Led by Pablo Sartor del Giudice – Academic Director and Full Professor, IEEM Business School (Uruguay)

In an increasingly volatile and interconnected economic landscape, making effective decisions requires more than just experience—it demands tools, method, and self-awareness. The Complex Decision Making module guides participants in exploring the dynamics that shape decision-making in highly complex and uncertain scenarios. Through advanced models, case analysis, and interactive simulations, learners will develop the ability to manage ambiguity, recognize cognitive biases, and clearly assess risks and opportunities. This course is designed to strengthen decision-making leadership and support strategic choices in high-impact contexts.

STRATEGIC PLANNING
Led by Luca Testa – Partner, The Boston Consulting Group and Adjunct Professor at IPE Business School

Strategic planning is not just a best practice—it is the compass that guides a company’s future. This module takes participants through a comprehensive journey, from defining the company’s vision to translating it into concrete objectives, operational plans, and monitoring systems. With a practical and structured approach, the course explores the key levers of the strategic process: the role of internal decision-makers, the development of a budget aligned with strategic goals, and the implementation of effective tools to track progress and adjust course when needed. The goal: turning strategy into action and plans into results.

BUSINESS MODEL INNOVATION

Led by Lorenzo Massa – Professor of Economics and Management, Aalborg University Business School & Visiting Professor, IPE Business School

In a constantly evolving market, innovating the business model is key to staying competitive and accelerating growth. This module guides participants through the analysis and redesign of business models using visual tools such as the Business Model Canvas, Lean Canvas, and Platform Canvas. Emerging trends, disruptive strategies, and real-world cases are explored to help participants reconfigure their value creation model, seize new opportunities, and break away from traditional boundaries. A strategic thinking and innovation lab for those who want to transform their business—before the market does it for them.

BUSINESS ETHICS AND THE VALUE OF WORK

Led by:
Antonio Ricciardi – President, IPE Business School
Enzo Arborea – Head of Research, IPE Business School

Business ethics is a key element in building sustainable and responsible organizations. This module addresses the main ethical dilemmas in business decision-making, offering tools to integrate ethics and social responsibility into corporate processes. Through real-world cases, participants will learn how to balance economic objectives with ethical values, fostering a strong and transparent corporate culture.

The module also explores the value of work, examining its impact on quality of life, interpersonal dynamics, and its broader social dimension. Key topics include the meaning of work, motivation, and the relationship between organizational well-being and performance—with the goal of creating fairer, more productive work environments that prioritize human value.

STRATEGY INTO ACTION
Led by:
Fabrizio Ferraro – Professor of Strategy, IESE Business School

Formulating a solid strategy is just the beginning—the real challenge lies in turning it into tangible results. This module focuses on strategic implementation from a senior management perspective, tackling one of the biggest gaps in business leadership: the divide between planning and execution.

Through real-world examples of both success and failure, participants will explore what truly drives effective strategic action, which organizational levers to activate, and how to lead change. Designed for CEOs, entrepreneurs, and managers, this course helps bring strategy off the slides and into the organization.

MARKETING & FUTURE THINKING

The balance sheet is not just an accounting document—it is a strategic tool that guides informed decisions and shapes corporate governance. This module teaches participants how to read and interpret financial statements through the lens of decision-makers, going beyond technical aspects to understand their economic, financial, and managerial implications.

Participants will learn to use key indicators to assess a company’s performance, sustainability, and financial strength, with a pragmatic, action-oriented approach. It is an essential path for anyone looking to make better-informed decisions, reduce uncertainty, and generate value through a smart interpretation of the numbers.

MARKETING & FUTURE THINKING

  • Analyse advanced approaches to marketing, including brand positioning, market segmentation, and communication strategies to effectively attract and retain customers.
  • Explore business scenarios (e.g., World is Flat / VUCA) and enhance your global market perspective by anticipating future trends.

THE BALANCE SHEET AS A DECISION-MAKING TOOL
Led by Antonio Ricciardi – Dean, IPE Business School

The balance sheet is not merely an accounting document—it is a strategic tool that supports informed decision-making and guides corporate governance. This module enables participants to read and interpret financial statements from a decision-maker’s perspective, going beyond technicalities to uncover their economic, financial, and managerial implications.

Participants will learn to use key indicators to assess a company’s performance, sustainability, and financial soundness, adopting a pragmatic and action-oriented approach. An essential course for those who want to make smarter decisions, reduce uncertainty, and generate value through a deeper understanding of the numbers.

CYBER RISK FOR CEOs

This module equips CEOs with the essential skills to understand and manage cyber risks in an increasingly digital landscape. It covers major cyber threats, compliance regulations, and financial risk mitigation strategies, providing practical tools to integrate cybersecurity into corporate management.

The program fulfills the training requirements set by the NIS 2 Directive and Legislative Decree 138/2024, which mandate periodic cybersecurity education across all organizational levels, including executive leadership.

GLOBAL ECONOMICS

Led by Gaetano Vecchione – Associate Professor, University of Naples Federico II & Board Member, IPE Business School Foundation

In today’s world, leading a business requires more than knowledge of one’s own sector—it demands a deep understanding of the global economic forces shaping its evolution. The Global Economics module provides participants with the tools to interpret key macroeconomic trends, assess the impact of economic and monetary policies on markets, and anticipate how geopolitical shifts may affect business.

With a practical and international approach, participants will learn to decode global economic signals and integrate them into strategic decision-making. Ideal for those who want to think big and act wisely in a complex global landscape.
